On Thursday, Porto celebrated the International Museum Day, but the activity program will last until Sunday (May 21st) when it will happen the European Museum Night! Many museums and cultural institutions are joining the celebration of this occasion: 37 locations with more than 100 activities – many which will be free of charge.

And if you are interested in arts and culture, don’t miss Roupa Velha, a retrospective exhibition about the 5 years of activity of Circus Network! Since their opening, Circus organized many group shows, installation works, workshops and other activities, gathering the coolest artists in town and abroad.

Let’s join this celebration: Saturday (May 20th) starting at 4 pm, at Circus (Rua do Rosário 54).

Also on May 20th, Distric – the newest and coolest co-work space in Porto, located in a beautiful historical building – will hold This is not a regular market! There you will be able to find clothes, fashion accessories and home decor.
 
Located in the city center (Rua Augusto Rosa, nº 39), it’s a great place to stop by and look for some cool gifts to bring back home!

And for those who love music, don’t miss this great concert that will happen at Casa da Música this next Sunday: Beethoven in a Good Mood! Under the music direction of Leopold Hager, Porto’s Symphonic Orchestra will play Symphony No. 8, considered by Helena Marinho a “small” gem of classical music. Following the concept of “explained concert“, she will give the audience a few information before the concert itself!
A great opportunity to discover this amazing building and see the local orchestra in action! Sunday 21st at midday, tickets cost 10 EUR.
