Why you should visit… Casa da Música

AtWill is all about showing you great places to visit in Porto!

Casa da Música is a must-see attraction in Porto, especially for those who appreciate architecture and, of course, music! This concert hall was designed by the famous Dutch architect Rem Koolhaas and since the beginning it was planned to be a new architecture icon for the city. People from all over the world come to visit Casa da Música! The institution’s program is dynamic and very innovative, presenting “from classical music to the forefront of urban trends”. One high point of Casa da Música are their educational activities, promoting concerts, workshops and activities for school groups and families.

We highly recommend that you get tickets to see a concert in Casa da Música while you’re in Porto! If you can’t or if you want to see the backstage of this architecture master piece, you can join a guided visit to explore the building’s architecture, where a guide will explain you all about its construction and its secrets.
