The Douro Region is full of picturesque cities and villages and Pinhão is one of the most known! Famous for its views and gorgeous train station, the city is a good choice of place to stay while exploring the vineyards in the area. The Douro region was demarcated in 1756 by the notorious Marquês de Pombal and is classified with “Denominação de Origem Controlada” (DOC), meaning that all the wine production has a high origin control. Even though the Port wine is the most famous product of the area, most Quintas also produce table wine, referred as “Douro wines”.

To help you enjoy your time in Pinhão, today we have selected a few Quintas near that you can visit! Check our suggestions and make your reservation!
